The Horse Trust
Slad Lane, Speen, Princes Risborough, AONB and Green Belt
Our first instruction was to replace all the stables as they were in a poor state of repair after 40 years of service, together with the conversion of a listed barn to create tea rooms, the creation of a isolation stable for sick horses and architectural upgrades to both the listed farmhouse and the listed function barn, together with a new car park, outdoor arena and landscaping.
Following a successful outcome for phase 1 we were then instructed to seek planning permission for the demolition of outbuildings and the erection of a new building for archive and office storage, together with a new indoor arena and additional car parking. This application is still under consideration by Wycombe District Council following positive pre-application negotiations.
Both of these proposals being in the Green Belt and the AONB required the submission of detailed Design and Access statements, both of which are attached below.
