About

Reserved matters permission has now been obtained following outline planning permission for 8 individually designed dwellings to replace the original farm buildings which have more recently been used for equestrian purposes.

The success of the project was dependent upon first obtaining a Lawful Development Certificate for the equestrian use, following which an outline planning permission was submitted and negotiated with the SODC Planning Department.

Our Client originally wanted to build the scheme out himself, and with the assistance of local agents, Hamnett Haywood, each of the 8 dwellings were individually designed to maximise the site value.

Since gaining the permission there has been much interest generated from local developers and our client has now put the site on the market.

We worked together with the purchaser on the following Building Regulations stage, and the development is currently under construction.

...Overall, a high-quality design is proposed, using appropriate materials and building forms which take proper account of the rural context of the site...
